These images allude to objects and ideas that aren’t quite recognizable, floating in amorphous space and context, referencing something just beyond our mental grasp.  Playful, inconsistent things, moving in and out of consciousness. We can't name them yet, only feel and inference towards prelinguistic constructs. We throw words and ideas at them, trying to make sense of them, because we have to--that’s the survival instinct: naming, categorizing, constructing patterns, living and dying through the material world.  Without names, will we forget them? Will they become insignificant, recede back into oblivion? Most do, but the ones that stick grab hold at a deeper registry, pulling things together that haven’t met yet, waiting for the right trigger to pull them out of the depths.
